Animate vs Inanimate
GARDEROBE TEKNODOLL: I don’t rely only on inspiration, I force it and when I start working, the inspiration comes out and guides me. This track is thought to be for times when you are so emotionally exhausted you just want to replace your own heart. My ideas for music usually come from the Nature and the Unknown that I want to shudder. The photos describe the track absolutely accurate and I can’t think of better ones.
SMYAH: This track brings me to wild fields of golden heavy grass, windy horizons and that magical place that is forever stuck between Summer and Autumn. I wanted to articulate the nostalgic feeling of the track in black and white and I seeked the contrast between animate and inanimate, movement and stillness, alive and dead with all the plants, rocks and water symbolising it and dancing together in the grainy images.
